Warranty Policy

Standard Warranty

If you have received a product which turns out to be defective or otherwise of poor quality, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect or poor quality.You can do so by logging a warranty claim via email to info@sable-energy.co.za, and we will arrange to check the product. Once we have inspected the product and validated your warranty, we will repair or replace the product.

Sable Energy provides the following warranty periods, commencing from the date of delivery:

1.1.1 Electronic Parts: 5 (five) years; 1.1.2 Batteries: 8 (eight) years; 1.1.3 Solar Panels: 12 (twelve) years (where applicable). -DEMO stock comes with a 6-month standard warranty unless otherwise indicated.

1.2 The warranty shall be void and unenforceable in the event of: 1.2.1 Wilful or accidental damage; 1.2.2 Damage caused by Acts of God; 1.2.3 Power surge damage; 1.2.4 Installation by unqualified persons; 1.2.5 Improper operation or use; 1.2.6 Unauthorised repairs or modifications; 1.2.7 Normal wear and tear; 1.2.8 Corrosion damage; 1.2.9 Opening of the unit by unauthorised persons.

1.3 All warranty claims must be submitted in writing to info@sable-energy.co.za. Sable Energy undertakes to respond to service calls within 36 (thirty-six) hours. The User shall be liable for repair costs where the fault is determined to be due to out of scope of warranty. All warranty claims are subject to approval of validity of claim, acceptable of such lies solely with Sable Energy.
